Ring of Brotherhood (Amroth's)
A red minnish stone set in silver, this ring was found in the ashes of Amroth Súrion’s family home. The stone has the same symbol carved into it that was seen on Ramond Raylor’s banners in Eethrum. This symbol is often referred to as Raylor’s Sigil. The band was identified as a Ring of Brotherhood by the Greyhair minotaur librarian in Minth.
These rings were popular around the time of the Rising, and were always made in pairs. When worn simultaneously, the straight-line distance, mood, and well-being of the other wearer are known by both parties.
Amroth’s ring “activated” shortly after he was addressed by Ariadne before she transformed into a conspiracy of ravens on Arium. He knew the other wearer was in good health, and about 1,000 miles west by northwest.
